Formål:

Vurdere kontroll av nattlige astmarelaterte oppvåkninger, symptomer og eksaserbasjoner hos voksne med moderat til alvorlig astma ved å sammenligne Seretide 50/250 µg x 2 mot budesonide 800 µg x 2 + formoterol 9 µg x 2.

Konklusjon:

Seretide 50/250 µg x 2 kontrollerte nattlige astmarelaterte oppvåkninger, symptomer og eksaserbasjoner signifikant mer effektivt enn budesonide 800 µg x 2 + formoterol 9 µg x 2.
